Ms. Maria Herminia Graterol Garrido is a women’s rights lawyer with a focus on human rights and not-for-profit strategist. In recent years, she has been focusing on women’s economic and social rights with a special interest in the right to education for women and girls around the world and women’s health.

Ms. Maria Herminia Graterol Garrido has co-founded and served on the Boards of Directors for a number of organizations established by and for women and collaborates with schools, community-based organizations, not for profits, universities, foundations and UN agencies.
